The Company

Verisure is one of the leading security companies globally with over 30 years of history. Previously known as Securitas Direct, the company operates in 17 countries worldwide: Spain, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Portugal, Italy, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina, the United Kingdom and Ireland with more than 25,000 employees.

The Challenge

The main challenge is to build a global and scalable data environment within a Cookieless  world.

The Approach

Adopting GA4 to leverage the power of data and increased security around web analytics on a first-party architecture.

Making Science develop a Google Analytics 4 tagging guide with the aim that all Verisure Group share the same simplified core web data model across countries/ sites.

After a deep assessment of the GA4 configuration and implementation process, we develop a Dashboard to validate the implementation across countries and double check the information.

The Results

Working closely with the client, Making Science helped them embrace the new privacy policies without limiting data analysis.

  • GA4 implementation is the first step to start building a first-party data strategy through the implementation of the Google Tag Manager Server Side.
  • Unification and standardisation measurement across countries/ sites to make it easier to analyze and extract data in aggregate.
  • Gain a holistic marketing approach by improving data quality in a more private world, thanks to a cross-channel and a cross-device view of the customer lifecycle with deduplicated and unified data.
